Try to use this :
1. /usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-servers stop
2. chown -R mysql /var/db/mysql && chgrp -R mysql /var/db/mysql
3. chmod -R 777 mysql
4. reboot
Try to see then

Go to your var/db/mysql folder and delete al the files that ends in .pid/.err(it might be hidden, so to check it out press ctrl+alt+h) then reboot your server.
In case you didn't do that yet, change your mysql password, then start your server.
